I hold qualifications in psychology, occupational health and adult education. My family and I have grappled with many of the sleep issues explored on this site. I'm a little embarrassed to concede that since putting on weight over the last 7 years, I've started snoring quite loudly and have really had to understand this problem to tackle it. My husband has always suffered from poor sleep and improving his situation has also driven my interest in sleep. Pillow comfort has been another hot topic for me due to neck and shoulder problems...sigh. One of my daughters has a sleep-related neurological condition and I have learned a lot about the role of melatonin in the brain in order to help her. No doubt the journey will continue. Thanks for visiting my site...the quest for a good night sleep is ongoing for many, many people, after all, sleep is such a regular and crucial governor of our lives - it's quality affects everything we do.
